Built for Cedar Rapids
We're a locally-owned and operated water damage restoration company serving Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha, and the surrounding Linn County communities. Not a national franchise. Not a call-center routing your emergency to a dispatcher in another state. The crew that arrives at your house is the same crew that works every other restoration job in this metro.
Cedar Rapids has a particular relationship with water. The 2008 Cedar River flood was the largest natural disaster in Iowa history. The 2016 flood tested every levee and barrier the city had built since. Indian Creek floods Marion every spring. Spring thaw produces basement water in the same neighborhoods every year. We do this work because Cedar Rapids needs people who do it well.

Our Standards
Every lead technician on our team holds IICRC certifications relevant to the work we do:
- WRT — Water Damage Restoration Technician (IICRC S500)
- ASD — Applied Structural Drying (IICRC S500)
- AMRT — Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (IICRC S520)
- OSHA bloodborne pathogen training for Category 3 / sewage work
Iowa doesn't license restoration contractors at the state level — there's no state board to complain to about a bad job. The credential that matters is IICRC. Insurance adjusters recognize it, and so do third-party hygienists who might be verifying our work.
Direct Insurance Billing
We work with all major Iowa insurance carriers including State Farm, Allstate, Farm Bureau, American Family, Liberty Mutual, Progressive, USAA, and most commercial carriers. Direct billing means we invoice your insurance company directly — you sign one work authorization, we handle the rest. Most homeowners pay their deductible and nothing else.
For policies with NFIP flood coverage (required for Cedar River and Indian Creek flood zones), we also handle the federal insurance billing track. See our Iowa insurance claim guide for more on how this works.
What We Won't Do
A few things we explicitly avoid:
- Contingency contractsthat promise “no out-of-pocket” before we've seen your policy. Some companies pressure homeowners into these on the first visit; we don't.
- Pressure to sign immediately.Take the time to read what you're signing, talk to your insurance, and ask questions.
- Inflated scopes on insurance claims. We bill what the work was, not what we think the policy might cover.
- Mold remediation without IICRC S520 certification. If we're doing mold work, we're doing it to standard.
- Subcontracting away the actual work. We don't hand off your project to whoever answers the phone. Our crews do our jobs.
Don't Let Water Damage Get Worse — Every Hour Counts
In the first 24 hours, water spreads into drywall, floorboards, and insulation. After 48 hours, mold begins forming. We're dispatched and on your driveway within 60 minutes.
